Should have em, just saw some in the box today. We do have plenty of raw stock. Sign up for the email notification and you will get one when they restock.

Does the Puller Pro Stubby have a temp sensor? The motor temp data log from my Mamba X does not seem to work. Confirmed its not the sensor wire.

I'm pretty sure John said he never put temp sensors in his motors.

Interesting question is, why even the HH motors don't have a temp sensor. I thought this was one of the easiest values to check, if gearing is al right.
I'm running two slate castles on mambas. One is providing a signal the other not. At the moment I'm waiting for my HH PP 540 3500kv and hoped this one had a sensor.
Why not HH, which sre more expensive?

What's the max voltage rating of the new trailmaster 550 12t?

4s, anything over that and who knows, maybe get 5 inches maybe get 50 miles.
Just watch the heat, but more voltages shortens the lifespan of the brushes.

I would say 3s on the 12t trailmaster.

No temp sensors at the moment because a temp sensor on the hall board is not very accurate, it is much better to measure the temp on the case. I would rather have them embedded into the stator and we haven't quite figured out a good way to assemble the motor and have the sensor hook up reliably.

I have a quick question for you . I’m switching from a shafts to a moa . I use to run a goat 3s on my NCR but they hard to find. What do you recommend for a dual set up? Single or dual esc ? And I have no idea about the kvh of motors what’s your recomendation for this app.? My shafty has pretty good wheels speed with the trans mod and a 13.5 t Novak goat 3s ide like to stay close to that if possible.

Default Have tech questions? Will answer.

Go to esc is Holmes BRMD
Hobbywing has the new dual 1080.

I love the 13t Crawlmaster

I’m assuming you have a programmable TX

The most popular combo for MOA is 16 or 13t 400 pullers and BR mini dual controllers. I would personally choose the 16t running 3s.

I know they say smooth or punchy, but what is the actual difference between the two 42 series motors? Is there a graph I can look at or something? Are they made differently?

No graphs, wouldn’t really describe how they feel different.

The punchy has higher flux linkage and square back emf. Doesn’t start smooth, but launches hard and has very strong brakes.

The smooth has a rotor with lower flux linkage. Starts super smooth. This makes a slightly more sinus back emf, and softens the launch and brakes a bit.

Do they both still have the same initial start speed?

I also would like to know. Another question, how similar can you make the two just by tuning punch settings (and maybe throttle curve) on the esc?
