| Re: Have tech questions? Will answer. I would choose the stubby version due to all the breakage I'm seeing. The full size will be way overkill, but if you feel comfy with your throttle control then breakage won't be too bad.

| Re: Have tech questions? Will answer. Thanks John, if there is a good bit of breakage, maybe I will stay brushed for now, the 21t trailmaster sport 550 is doing a great job! I just usually always end up with the itch for brushless lol

Hello Folks, Newbe here.....I tried a search but didn't find what I need. So here goes... I want to run a winch and a couple of other accessories on my truck. How do I distribute the power? I have 1 plug in on my ESC, but that is not enough. What do I do or buy? Thanks!! |

How many channels are on your rx? For winches, lights to switch them off/on you will need a Tx/Rx with 3 channels or more. Lights can be hardwired with a switch, you can also get a remote controlled winch. Hang up and Drive |

Depending on the amp draw you may simply draw power from your third receiver channel with a JR style plug. Route it to a switch, or for lights they can turn on when you power up. You can get a switching controller for LED's that plugs in there and controls with your third channel. If your winch requires more power you can add a second batter for it. Or run a pigtail off your main battery, or an external BEC. A lot of guys will just get a mini flight pack to power their winch and use a handheld controller. Making up JR plugs is pretty easy once you have the crimp tool and some connectors. Out of my six rigs only one has 4 channels and I still only use 3 in it. One does have lights in a fourth channel. There are some pretty fancy light controllers out there if that floats your boat. Make sure you match up your supply and accessory voltages and amp ratings. Once they smoke they're toast. Lately I ordered a pair of Team puller 500 13t xx. I was very impressed with the specs, especially when taking the incredible low weight of 4.6 ounces or 143g into account. You can imagine I was very excited when I received them, put them on my scale to see the fantastic weight and... .. they came out at 5.7 oz or 162 g. So they are as heavy as my 10$ motors they will be replacing. Very disappointing. Is there something wrong with my motors or are you misleading your customers? |

Is that with no wire soldered on? 4.6 is with no leads. Leads and bullets cost extra and are extra weight.

Plenty of torque, wheel speed is good, and it was pretty cheap to boot. Just my 2¢. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk | |

Might pick up a 3300kv Puller Pro Stubby in a trade and am wondering if this is a solid fit for the TRX4 2-speed, or is the regular size Puller a better match?

To follow up on programming a HH BLE Pro ESC with a Castle B-Link and iOS app, I can say that things appear to have worked 100% successfully. Upon setting up the link (the ESC identifies itself as a Holmes TrailMaster Pro) I was able to successfully upgrade the firmware, read current settings, make changes and reprogram the ESC without issue. Doesn't appear to have any throttle/brake curve glitches as John had mentioned experiencing.

I lean pretty heavy on Puller pros and mamba X combos as a do anything solution. 2700 Stubby or standard.

May have been asked. When are the TQ BR Mini's (no leads) coming back into stock?
