Thank you.

No. I have a few bridges that I made early on out of pressure treated wood & that's the only thing that stays out year round. The signs & oil drums, the suspension bridge & truss bridge & a few house plants stay out all summer & then I bring them in for the winter. I drench the bridges in polyurethane each spring.

But the buildings get brought out for special events. Typically, I check the weather & if it's going to be nice all weekend, I haul them out Friday night & take them back in Sunday.

The garage has created a dilemma though. It's the first one that is hard to carry by myself. The awning comes off & right now it's on that deck, propped up on bricks with a tarp over it.

Great video! I didn't realize that "fake lake" actually has water in it.

What was that song, I liked it as well.

Yeah I saw that too. Very awesome. If I built something like that it would end up covered in leaves in the fall and then it snows a lot here

Thanks, Yea, it's a real fake lake. Zero 7 is the band... can't remember which song... it usually shows up with a link to Amazon on my utube.

I don't take pictures of it when it's full of leaves which is most of the time. When it rains hard, it washes all the sand into it too. gas leaf blower was one of the best RC tools I've purchased & I use the shop vac to suck the muck out of it. It's high maintenance.... If you make one, don't put it in the low spot like I did & keep it small. It holds about 20 gallons or so... just enough to create an illusion.

Good call on both counts. I've thought of using a gold fish pond for mine. I Def have to get a leaf blower. I think I'm too lazy to carry the buildings in it every month for events. Haha. I did try to make my building collapsible for easier transport.

Wait, that lake is fake? But it seemed so real when I drove my turk through it.

I drive up and down a coast a couple times a year...

So what's the price of admission to the coolest amusement park yet?

Do you accept work doing park maintenance in trade? lol.

it's an applicable occlusion. drive a fake turk through a fake lake... double negative... makes the lake real... like virtual reality.

It's as real as the fake lake is fake.

I am now convinced more than ever that N00b genetically modifies these reptiles as dwarf species and releases them when he's here. That's the only time they show up. He's working on a fresh water great white shark for me, I just need to make a slightly larger lake, at 9 scale, it's still a fairly large shark.

And... I'm in South West Virginia, NRV stands for New River Valley. About 45 miles west of Blacksburg in the Jefferson National Forest (which I've renamed)... and on the topic of geography, Wolf Creek is an actual creek that feeds into the New river & our property fronts Wolf Creek for roughly 1/2 mile & that's where the name came from.

But... there are no longer wolves... just a few remaining triceratops, unicorns, frozen snakes and garuffalos in these parts.

Invited a few friends over this past weekend & had a pretty large turnout. It was a fun filled day of slow trucks, fast trucks, hot dogs and kool-aid. And! My good friend Jeff has been trying to thin his RC boat collection a bit and left a vintage beauty with me to look at, play with and eventually convince myself that I can't live without. You'll get a quick glimpse in the video:

Thanks for the invite, Doug! Definitely had a blast...that place is incredible. Looking forward to crawling again. Here are a few pics I snapped while there...mostly of my rig, but I wanted to share them.

Glad you finally made it out. I didn't take many stills this time but here are a couple. Park Ranger shot was Barry's & I just thought it looked cool with the NFS sign.

The land rover was a really cool build. It was done on a Tamiya platform, a road chassis as I remember & he's working on making it more capable off road but scale came first & he want IFS front & rear. It didn't get a lot of trail time though so didn't make it in the video but a super cool build & I got some stills of it. The campsite shot is with Jeff's scratch built off road trailer (bed is lined with an old pair of his plaid boxers... remember what your mother always said about wearing clean underwear... you never know when the entire interweb world will be looking at them)

The Land rover wheels are particularly cool. It's an HPI wheel which fit the tire & he turned the landy wheels down to size & made hubcaps with a wheel nut.

Jeff's powerwagon with the shell station transformed into a fire station.
