we had a good amount of wind and rain, it seems like Atlantic City N.J. got the direct hit, maybe we'll see snookie get washed out to sea!

Sorta kinda forgot to post these. Our last get together for the year. I did the Halloween thing but a friend brought this custom scratch built off road tear drop trailer so I thought it was a good time to start a campground. Made the sign, some picnic tables, a little land scaping.

His trailer is sweet. he did the interior, working jack stand from brass. That wire mesh is all individually cut, yes cut. He did the hitch from stock aluminum. He does some fantastic work, the fire truck is his too. Anyway, motivated me to start a camper. mine is a '64 Shasta Astroflyte & the campground will be retro, vintage late 50's, early 60's. Atomic starburst eames pink flamingos, here we come.

We've both purchased mold/resin casting kits so we plan to have "Pampered Chef" parties & trade little stuff. He brought me a case of motor oil (on the picnic table)

I have to agree with muddywaters. The selection of rigs that show up at your Park and the skill level of those rigs....... just WOW. I dont know how else to put it.
By the way, The Tear-Drop camper is somthing I have thought would make the ultamate expadition camper. An amazing job was done on it. I would like to see inside the back of the TD.

Thanks! One of the things that's really been cool is that people have brought some amazing models here. It's really fun to see what other people bring & create.

DRW, I have to say I am super impressed with the park! Top notch work! freakofnature posted a link to this thread in a thread I started about building a backyard course. I wasn't expecting this though. Mine will be nowhere as good But you did give me some inspiration for mine and maybe I'll try my hand at the scale thing. Keep up the good work

Well... sort of. Funny you should ask, I haven't done anything on it outside all winter except to try and burn out a stubborn stump but started on something yesterday outside.

I don't do too much on it in the winter & that's when I work on things to put out there...

Finished the jungle hut around january or so which will go with the bamboo bridge.

Started work on a service station & started to excavate and flatten a site for it... This was not fun... so I started making a lake instead:

I had looked into this before & making a pond that would support plant and fish life is expensive. And since my genetically modified miniature great white shark experiment failed.,, I don't need it to support life.

So, the idea is make it shallow, concrete bottom, seal it, paint it a deep shade of blue.

Hopefully this will make it to where, I can just blow it clean with a leaf blower, the paint will give it the impression of depth as apposed to a bird bath look & if it gets really gooky, I can just add a splash of bleach.

Wow first time I ever saw this thread. I'm pretty much speechless and that almost never happens. What a fantastic job. The attention to detail is unbelievable. I'm sure those lucky enough to go here must have a blast. Didn't even see where its at but I know if it was close I would love to check it out sometime. Great job.

Said it on another forum but I'll say it again anyway, how much I would love to come and play here! (not that I ever have a working rig...)

Just an FYI, I wanted to see your website but the URL in your signature has an additional 'L' in wolf, so copy/paste failed. Found it eventually
