ESCs will be at the shop wednesday. It will take a few days to test and get them packaged, but I will put up inventory in the next 24 hours once the arrival is confirmed.

I don't allow preorders. it quickly gets out of hand and becomes hard to track, and with possibilities of production hangups it just is bad practice IMHO. I've done it plenty of times before, but just look around the board here and you will see how easily problems occur. I already have the next batch starting production so hopefully we can avoid stockouts this time around and even out the flow of goods.

I just checked your site and saw you have a TON of these in stock now. Any chance on refreshing the combo's soon, or is the motor supply still lagging behind? I want to get the Waterproof TorqueMaster Crawlmaster 13t combo for the Wraith I'm building.

curious why the 2 orders i placed on friday (8991, 8994) are showing backordered status? i thought that couldnt happen...

anybody else order brxls that are showing backordered? maybe its just a system update thing, i'm hoping it is.

edit... maybe its because i requested waterproofing.

Just wanted to share. I decased my brxls and heat shrunk them together. Other than having to do a little soldering to recalibrate one of them, it worked great. The package is a little bigger than one in a case now. I just sort of interlocked the fins on the heatsink and added a little 2 sided tape to hold it.

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting the torque master esc/540 combo. My servos are Hitec 7955TG for steering and Mighty Mini for dig. From what I gather reading through these threads I will need to get the CC BEC as well. Is there a post or site someone could point me to explaining how to wire this all up. So far haven't been able to locate the idiot/noob guide searching.

Thanks

I would run a ccBEC to the steering servo through a bypass adapter (Holmes Hobbies / Holmes Bikes :: Servos accessory/ Voltage regs :: RX Bypass Adapter) and run the dig from the RX. Many times you can get away with an efficient 300 ounce inch servo with no external BEC however, but it really depends on many factors.

I am curious, I have a brxl and I have noticed that I have burned up more motors with this speed control than any other I've used. I love the features and adjustability of the brxl, is it the holmes hold that heats up the motors? just curious. Thanks.

Yes, the hold wears them out. Turn off the hold, or turn it down.

I've turned off the hold, today and went crawling.
Let me clarify, the complete drivetrain is bind free and free spinning. I'm running an integy 35t machine wound motor. When I first put the motor in I never had a problem with getting hot, and didn't use up my 1300mah 3cell's as fast as the last few runs I've done. The 1300mah 3cells are only lasting 25 min or so compared to 1hr like before. I have a local buddy that has the exact same setup motor and everything except for an fxr instead. He doesn't have the problems I've been having. I'm just curious if its the speed control or something else. thanks. Oh and the brushes are fine on the motor. I'm running 20-87 gearing, stock rear gears with overdrives in the front, full rr metal gear trans.
