thanks for the fast turn around on the cc bec i ordered.
my question is about hooking up the bec ?
i am running a mamba max on 11.v lipo on a 2.2 & a brushed motor , with a crappy traxxis rx
two servos , steering -5955 & shifting dig -81mg.
now i want to use the cc bec just for the front servo.
and the mamba esc to power the shifter servo. (no need to have high power to this servo)

do i wire it up like i would with a servo battery pack ? bypassing the Rx power on the front servo ?

The easiest way for you is to use a Y harness. Hook the battery and CC BEC into the Y harness. Cut the power leads going to the RX so that power only travels from BEC to servo, and only the signal wire is going from RX to servo.

Yes you would need a power supply. I don't carry them.

How come I can purchase the mamba max or crawlmaster sport separate but it shows the combo of them out of stock on the site?

Also what is your opinion of this setup

They are back in stock. An 8 cell nimh would make a good combo, and I see nothing wrong with your setup.

The quark seems to have better low speed control, but the sidewinder and MM does a good job too now. Base your decision on price and features.

Must have missed the question.

Cartronics:

If you want wheelspeed on 6 cells, two 45t motors and two sidewinders would be a good bet. You could even drop down to 35t motors if you wished. I have a slew of handwinds on the way, it will be about $230 for a dual ESC clod setup.

Oh yes, the quark 33's will be in stock ASAP, but Quark doesn't have any in the country last time I checked. I will call again monday.


Your mamba flashing red- sounds like you are driving the ESC in reverse. That is the reverse light.
