Got tired of the white wagon wheels, so I put the little swampers on the ssd wheels and put them on the yota.

Fresh set of Currie axles arrived yesterday for the Wraith and a set of Locked Up RC Mini Loco Bushings was waiting in the mailbox tonight.

It's Friday night and time to get dirty...

Worked on my daughter's crawler a little.
New body!

Made her a license plate, almost the same exact size as the ones on her decal sheet!

Plus a driver and passenger of her choice!

ALSO.....
Trimmed the Deadbolt body so it would clear the 2.2s, and added a weight on top of the servo.

....And bought some wheels for the wife's Wrangler!

Switched the tires around between the Yeti and Wraith. Put the TSL's on the Yeti and the Falkens on the Wraith.

Well, I bought another JK body with the intent to make it identical to Karen's purple JK so she would have a pristine lid strictly for show.....
Aaaaand....... I did a horrible job painting it.
It has some nasty runs and wicked light and dark spots in it and it just plain looks like hell....
So, I have another lid to abuse, but it's the same color as hers, and I hate having a rig just like someone else's....
I may sand off some of the purple in places and paint those spots silver just to change it up.
I'm torn with the idea though.
It would make a great lid for my HPI Savage!!!!

What would you do?????????

Get some DOT4 brake fluid and soak the body. The paint will come off with some elbow grease.
DOT4 is key.

Pounded out in 6 hours. The old Ford went from AX10 to SXC10. Stretched the chassis 2" and each link .850. Gained 1/2" of flex. Had to put the weight to it to get it back to where it was. Cant wait to get her out n the trails!

Assuming you are referring to this picture..

That servo is a servo winch.

Fixed the Wraith with a proper clamping servo horn. Also turned down the voltage from 8v to 7v. That got rid of the servo twitching.

Decided to get away from the pathetic brushed motor in my Bronco. Plus the Race Claws were really under preforming as well. Along with my drive shaft that wouldn't stay together. Have hardened steel gears for it sitting on the bench and a set of OMF Dark soul 1.9 external bead locks waiting for the Pits I ordered. Set of MIP's on the way and a new Trackstar 2270kv as well. Few tweaks on the front axle and she should be up to par with the Ford. (Even though the Ford is broke right now lol) Maybe I can have this ready in time I might make Maidens cliff. Fingers crossed!
