The Wraith made it up the hill, but the snow gave it more of a challenge than the rocks did. LOL

Made a lot of progress on the Dodge Macho Wagon. Axel is all in and waiting on cvd's to get here. Next step is getting the steering servo mounted, steering links and drag link on. Then get the last mount hole for the transfer case drilled. Glue up the short shaft and get the mip shafts together and on. Then shift servo mount. then on to the interior. Long way to go. I think I might have this ready for the first crawl at Bradbury this year. Fingers crossed!!!!

Built a rack to put my crawlers and my Savage on.
They take up a whole lot less space this way!

custom links revo ends 8/32 stainless threaded rod 1/4 inch stainless tube. Made the uppers a little longer than stock for a better drive shaft angle. They came out pritty good.

Getting closer every week. Cant wait to pull the trigger on his thing and see if all this hard work was worth it. Axles shafts cut down. axle is finished. Just need to get the steering links done and get the steering servo mounted.
Front is a little wider then the rear. but it looks scale, so its done. Also got the MIP's in. Been dreading this. Lucky me , it clears!!!!

I picked up an essentially brand new and totally complete SCX-10 Deadbolt RTR with over $100 of extras on it for $130 the other day, so I've been dubbing with that.
Thinking about putting my 2.2 BFGs on it without foams and seeing how that works.
Pics later!

Yes sir! I got it from one of the meatheads I work with!
I kept telling him I'd give him $100 for it, then I got him to come down to 150. Then he wanted to go home early on a day I was in charge at work, and he said he'd sell it to me for 130 if I'd let him leave early.
Worked out good for me, I got a great deal AND I didn't have to deal with him for the rest of the afternoon!!!!

I got a driver and a navigator for the Wraith.

The Deadbolt with the 2.2s on it.

The tiny boggers that came on it when I got it.

The upgrades that came with it.

Fixed the crappy pinion angle on the Deadbolt, trimmed the body so the 2.2s won't rub, and added a weight to the top of the steering servo.
Then I went out to play in the snow!
Also discovered that the meathead I got it from had the ESC set for Lipo, instead of NiMH batteries.
No wonder he was complaining about really short run times on a battery.....
DUH!!!

New addition to the stable. Team associated TC3, 3500kv Velineon . ready to run, up to 3s. To my door for $170. I couldn't pass it up. Quick little bugger. Hope the people down stairs aren't annoyed from me blowing doughnuts in the living room

I finally found a tundra body! It's coming from japan so it won't be here until the 20th or so. I can't wait to get started on building this one. I was going to use a scx10 chassis but I think i'm going to build my own chassis, i'll know better by the time the cab gets here.
