Steering servo will have to be addressed soon imo. I also got rid of the portion of the cage that goes over top of the lights. I like the look better without it.

Few pics of the action today... no breakage/ no lost parts/ 40+ minutes of run-time. Motor was barely warm to the touch. We left before either rig hit lvc.

Can you tell me what the lvc is set at? I looked and can't find. I ran through this whole thread and found a pdf for it but I didn't see what the cutoff was. Mine ran the battery down to 2.8v first trip out and stopped. I dealt with axial cs and I can't say enough good things about them. I have a tenergy tb6b charger but can't use it to charge this battery since none of the leads fit. So aiwould like to purchase an already made adapter if you or anyone knows of where to get one to plug it into the charger so I can balance charge it (I have the balance board, just need adapter for the battery lead). So I have a new battery but want to be sure I don't put it into the truck in case the esc is going to drain it past 3.0 again or anywhere near close.

I honestly don't know. I was just going by the fact that the esc/ rec light wasn't blinking. So far I've only run the supplied battery and used the supplied charger. I want to balance charge it on my imax b6ac v2 but I need a lead.

I'm going to get this in order to balance charge the stock lipo: https://www.amainhobbies.com/betafpv...SABEgJ2ePD_BwE

I also already picked up a couple of these lipo's to balance charge directly from my b6ac v2 but haven't used them yet.

I use a little eFlite 2s balance charger for all my micro batteries. Got two of them off eBay for less than $20 a year or so back.

I've also had the batteries drop down below 3v too so now I try to run it for like 30 minutes and then check the cells. I've been making sure to stop before it has a chance to (not) hit the LVC lol. I looked into the LVC to see if its adjustable and I didn't find any info on where its set just that there is one which is easy to doubt.

I made up an adapter for these batteries, stock is a PH 2.0 plug

Since then I switched to JST's and made a new adapter.

Sounds like the servo is a weak spot. It does ok if you keep moving
I ordered this
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/corona-9...4aAisREALw_wcB

It was $12 shipped should get it next week

I would have order this one. Twice as strong, smaller and only $15 shipped. Didn’t want to wait 7-26 days for the slow boat from China

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/corona-d...0sec-8-5g.html

I am thinking 30+oz of torque should be enough

Thanks for the response. So the banana plug you show in the first link is for plugging in the charger and then has 2, 3 wire plugs so I am assuming it is for the supplied battery with the scx24? The other is an optional wire end not needed for these but is for other batteries that may also fit? To simplify it for the new guy here, this is a plug and play wire I can buy and plug in charger with banana plugs like I already do and one of those 2 ends goes to the supplied battery? That is what I am looking for if so. I am into the hobby hard now but for fun and playing, not to solder and create things. I trust the smarter people out there for that and will purchase their solutions to keep my fun...fun and not work. Thanks to all those who help and further this hobby as when it is easy and fun, I spend money to support it. When it feels like work or the people in it are snobby, it is a huge turnoff and kills the hobby, regardless of hobby we are talking about.

That's weak several of us are having lipos ruined by the esc not working as it should. Hoping this is a fluke or a short issue that is getting or been fixed.

I bought this and it doesn't work (for anyone looking at buying). It just came via amazon and doesn't plug into the battery.

Was that a PH 2.0? I'll have to double check my spare plugs, EDIT yes a PH 2.0 fits

I've converted both of mine to JST plugs.

As for the LVC issue yeah it does suck, you can still get decent run time if you try to stop a bit before going too low.

If you don't mind doing a little soldering, I'll send ya the connector ya need. It doesn't have wires, just terminals, so you'd need to solder leads on, but it's free. Just shoot me your address in a PM.

I'll be converting mine over to XT-30s.

The balance plug isn’t a conventional one? It charges through the balance plug.

It doesn't on a tb6b charger. It needs a battery end connected to it also.

So pissed I can't play with the truck basically since I got it. Took out a couple times. The esc messed up the battery for sure at 2.8v but Axial was awesome and helped with replacement parts. I still don't know which broke and don't like using the charger that charges at 2a on a 350mah battery. Gonna wait until.the connector arrives to charge on a real balance charger.

I don't remember if it was Humbolt or Bigworm or someone else that posted the pigtails originally... but I was under the assumption that the pigtail connector would fit the battery connector and that I could just solder on a Deans or XT plug ( or banana plugs) that would plug into my balance charger. I apologize for not replying sooner... I somehow overlooked this thread recently.

No worries. A dean connector doesn't help. This is a banana plug from the charger and then the battery has its own 2s balance lead and has a small 2 wire/pin end for the power. It needs the power end to be replaced with one that fits the tiny battery end that goes to the esc. All here are helpful and appreciated. I only wanted to stop someone from buying that cable and thinking it was plug and play.
