SP 00 buddy! Miss you! I think if the 370 can fit (Gamyrc), might be worth a try? Only one way to find out… I do have 90% of the infrastructure in place

And I agree… It’s pretty powerful! I have it in my GEN two. By the way, also with old man email!

Same as the weevolver, you could get it to work as they are similar in size, probably not ideal for a crawler though. His puller setup is a beast though

What about setting the throttle curves...?I have one in my class III and love it!!

Check out the low-end torque. Again, it’s all in testing I suppose. I have plenty of the 24s now so I can stand to break some parts!

In the video I just set the throttle trim so it would just get moving.

Throttle curves? I'm not saying it's not a good motor I'm saying the size and weight are might hurt it's center of gravity and stability. Keep in mind in addition to the extra size and weight of the bigger motor with Gamys mount because of the motor size it will be mounted on top of the transmission instead of along side it like stock.
I'm sure it will have more than enough torque and smooth throttle though

Yeah, I thought the extra weight up top would be an issue but once I swapped the stock battery pack for a 350mah battery which I placed right behind the trans it actually made it about the same as stock form since the stock battery sits so high and is so big. If the frame rails were a bit sider the motor couldve been placed lower its just theres not much to work with. The side mount motor plate just doesnt allow for anything lower than 17t pinion so higher front mount was the only way to go down to 11t to keep super slow crawl. :/

I can’t wait to try it when I get the jeep body version in… And I think adding some wheel weights and diff weights to counteract would be beneficial.

I don't think those skid plates are his.
Not sure he's allowed to post his links here if he's not a vendor, but I can...

By the way, here’s the battery that I threw in… Along with replacing the connectors with EC2s. 75c

I don't think the 70c will make a difference with the stock motor and ESC, but it won't hurt.
I've been using value hobby for about 8 years with no problems. I really like this 500mah pack because it's 150mah more than stock, but the exact same size. They also have a 3s version that's also the same size, just thicker. (In picture) and the factory ESC will work on 3s

Hmm, options are good, but those are twice the price and less capacity than the GeForce. Idk that particular brand, but I know I've been using value Hobby GeForce branded batteries for about 8 years or so without a problem. Might be worth it if you have Amazon prime and need batteries in 2 days or less though. I'm lucky to have an Amazon hub not far from here so I get most packages the next day

Yeah, I was just happy they were less than stock and more capacity. That said I can get through 193 gates with the stock battery so capacity isn't much of a concern.

17g added, so not bad. Stock battery is 25.6g with the EC2 connector added.

And spoo, I’m running the sidewinder micro now.
Don’t really know if that makes a difference either?

Been honing my light building skills and I think this is how axial should’ve done it… If anyone is interested in me building them one, Or just some info, let me know.
Not a vendor, just a side project!
