If you look at your tail light carefully you will see the moulded in reflector detail that should be at the bottom yours is at the top

Do you have a side profile picture of the front grill?

I have been somewhat following this thread and just wanted to throw out there that the tail light "issue" is not an issue of this body or of rc4wd it's an "issue" since the original bruisers... I have been building bruisers for the past 15 years or so and the tail lights have always hung over.

Here are some of my Toyotas, with Tamiya beds to show

Even if you fill the seem properly, such as my good buddy mr.n00b did on. They still poke over a little bit

A hair dryer and some patience should work. Adding some styrene and doing some sanding should also work. 2003 Edge and I are looking into a couple of options and will post what we come up with. I probably won't be able to get back to it until next week, though.

Next problem

The tip of the grill sticks out from the hood
If i grind it down to match the hood
Then the lense might stick out also?
I didnt fit the lenses for the headlight yet
I thinkni should put it on and see before i grind any of those

Thanx man
I dont have a hairdryer to use

If you do this like what i did
Dont make the fire touch the body
Just get close to it
And its fast to get it hot
2 minutes for both sides
Or took probably less than that
To fixed that problem

I think ill permanently attached that grill
And putty those tiny gaps
Also i cant grind those stuffs stickin out of the hood
The corner lense is the problem if you grind it
So im thinking of using a putty to extend the hood a little
Match it with the grill

Wow this body is horrible. I definitely won't be picking one up until they sort these issues. I hope they do it quickly. I realize an experienced hobbyist can work around them but why should they have to when the original TF2 body was fine.

Next thing to do
I came up with an idea on how to properly align that headlights to the hood
Ill shaved some from the fender so i can push it more a little
So itll align with the hood
The bar holding the grill from the inside will push out the grill
I think that should work

Ill work on it later today
