Never really thought bout that , It would all but guarantee I end up getting the tf2 lol . I'm thinking maybe scrounging up some cage parts from the Twin Hammer to use for bed bars . Was thinking maybe Yeti but they might be too big .

Bed and cab set
Bumper set
Window set
Light set
Tailgate set
Rollbar set
Dinky interior set
Mounting kit

Anything I'm forgetting guys ? I'm looking at roughly another $90.00 . Also any other suggestions for bed bars ? I'm looking for something I can just shoe-goo to the floor of the bed . As you can see here much of the floor bed is still intact

So did RC4WD admit there are issues with the body?

If so, are they going to fix it or keep selling blems at full price?

A lot of these "PROBLEMS" are user errors

I left a certain other forum lol because threads about the poor quality of this body kept vanishing why and how can anyone blame an obvious manufacturing flaw as the customers fault

You're right, believe the person who puts the tail lights in upside down.

Not my customer.

I'm a great representative, I can follow directions and build models properly.

You need to go back to post #1.

The OP looked at other people's build pictures and deduced that the tail lights were wrong before he even had a kit in hand. Then he proceeded to install them upside down and complain about fitment. Then something about body fitment issues, but that must have resolved itself because that never came up again. Those are the only reasons this thread had the word "PROBLEMS" in the title. There's more user error than anything else in this thread. No disrespect intended, but sometimes what's perceived as a problem is actually nothing at all. Sometimes a kit can get away from you and with some simple prep and research, a lot of this might have been avoided.

This is not in defence of Rc4WD, or their manufacturing, it's simple fact. I can't tell you how many bodies I've built, from Rc4WD to Tamiya - they all require a bit of finesse.

My biggest complaint is I just wish they could give me a date when it would be available . The hardest part of this whole thing is not knowing . I can deal with the minor blemishes and snafus . I just want the damn truck already .

He isn't the only one having issues with the body.

Also, how is it the user's fault for kits that arrive with missing parts?

It doesn't matter which parts were missing. It's completely inexcusable.

I have had missing parts in several kits from many different manufacturers over the years. I even had a part missing from an Xray kit and they have inspection slips stuck into every individual parts bag with the packager's name so it happens to the best of them.
