Facepalm. Yes, you're right, presuming it bolts to the outside.

No, but from the pic I would say 1/8" wider than the scx10 frame rails..

Hey guys: I am prepping my body for the ECSC and had not been there last year wanted to pose a question... I saw in the rules (for Class 1) it states no trimming of the fenders, although, I see many fellers trimming the rear corner, and trimming off the front valence altogether. Is this legal in class 1? I wasn't sure if it was referring to trimming the radius of the fender, or any part whatsoever...

And, on another rule: Are batteries allowed in truck boxes like in my pic, or do they have to be strapped to the chassis?

Thanks fellers, and can't wait to meet you all in a few weeks...
Minor fender trimming is allowed in C1 just nothing excessive. Also the battery is fine in the bed tool box.
The only suggestion I would make for your build and maybe you are already addressing it is add inner fenders to hide the electronics. I use hobby foam which you can find at Hobby Lobby or other craft stores and it is very cheap or you can use plastic bowls or qt oil jugs.

Thanks for the kind/helpful reply BMuzz. The inner-fenders are 'in the works'...

It's both a bumper and a stinger. Very similar to my tj front end.

Ok I have a question regarding the class 2 stipulation on how the inside of the front tires cannot extend past the widest part of the doors. My question is which doors I have a nb jk 4d body and the widest part would be the rear doors does that count or is it only the front doors. Here's a pic to go off of front of the truck is near the bottom of the pic. it doesn't look like it in the pic but the rear doors are the widest part of the body.

Thanks in advance,
Kenneth

I would say it's legal.

I'm sure this has been covered, but I cannot find it. Can I reduce my 2.2 voodoo u4 tires to 1.9 and be class 2 legal as long as they are 4.75?

No tire mods except lug removal in class 2, if you want smaller tires do it, but they will still be a class 3 tire

Question. Does this qualify for a interior roll cage for both seats?

It does if you add the upper cross bar in the front so that it completes the cage.

I know it's easy to get points already and to be fair this is already a 50 point plus rig but any options we have to avoid scale accessories are a good thing in my book.

Hoping this question didn't get lost in the shuffle
