Actually I aged the lenses a little. These are glass so they only really got a whitish film on them. I did that already so they look good off but they are just too bright on.

That's going to be great to stage for the "That's an RC?" thread...if you ever decide you're finished with it.

Project is not nailed down yet. Due to the passing of my father I wanted to do an FC 170 like he had when I was a little guy. Problem is I would have to design a body to 3d print or hand build. My other option is a 77 Ford. It was his pride and joy for many years. So one of those 2 is my plan and eventually both?

Yah the mighty FC is to boxy. I almost used that body in the past but I really want the old FC.

He had a 72 bronco and a 79 IH scout. He also raced dirt track. Very cool guy.

Pics in the 'wilds'???

Turned out nice. Wondering how it crawls, or if it was just a scale deal.

It crawls really well. I haven't taken any pictures lately. I'm bad at forgetting my phone.

been a while since i checked in. seems i missed a lot.

sorry about your Pop. I miss mine more than i thought i would. very therapeutic doing a tribute rig, i highly recommend it. cant wait to see either one or both you have described.

for the dim headlights just gotta pay attention to the color temp on the LEDs. "soft" or "warm" whites are the way to go. you could dip them in transparent yellow paint and that would also limit brightness a bit. i hate the fact we don't have radio shack anymore. i used to get LEDs there all the time it was great.

new driver looks great as well as the rear fenders.
