Cool, should be a blast are you running class 1 with the Yota?

What's the deal with the Meatwad foams in your sig? Does he specialize in custom foams? I'm in need....lol

Ha ha....Mr. Wad supplied me with some foam he had at his work, and we both used it in another rig...we jokingly referred to them as Meatwad foams...it kind of stuck...but it worked pretty good. I can bring you some if you want...but you have to cut it yourself.

And that would be a negative on the Yota for Class 1... Maybe next year I can handle two comp rigs in a day...I'm still getting used to this

Haha not too special James, but like Greg says it worked a lot better than stock for him so it stuck. I've also got a few blocks should you need, very tune-able Not a fan of stock foams myself

Hey Meatwad....which stock foams are you not a fan of? The proline memory foams or the RC4WD grey foams?

Stock foams aren't usually enough to support my heavy scalers It's really a matter of tuning rather than quality imo

Speaking of foam...and cutting a circle big enough to fit a 1.9 tire from a flat sheet of raw material ....I know of Sheetrock cutters..probably big enough to work for the inner diameter...anybody got any ideas for the outer diameter???
I'm thinking the right sized coffee can sharpened up might work

I didn't like my foams today...need to be a bit stiffer
Snapped a winch line...but not while winching...didn't have to use it today
Broke two rod ends on links....they were the cheap stock rod ends.
Need to improve my overall steering radius, I don't have enough....I have universals ready to install...and also change the steering linkage ...it is hitting the pumpkin. Flipping the stock linkage probably would help this.

That's my report for today's comp. I don't know what my overall score was yet...but I do know I improved quite a bit...pretty happy with my performance today. Need to improve a few things and get ready for the next comp.

Thats good stuff right there. Both you guys ave been improving each comp, good driving today. All it takes is an open mind and some one that is willing to accept advice and constructive criticism. We will help out all we can. Hey don't know if you guys would be interested in going to a North Bay comp this next weekend but most of the L.E.R.K. Crew is heading up there.
