huh.

I've been running the od/ud in my YJ for the longest and I never noticed this but there is a lot more sprung weight with it being a hard body. bummer.

I didn't want to go all the way, the tire is thin enough.

Another difference would be the amount of available traction. Your YJ most likely wasn't running sticky Rovers...

i've noticed this on my mostly stock ax10. i added od/ud gears and sedona's. you can really tell on a carpeted floor. in my living room you can watch the chassis/suspension really stretch out going forward, and wad up pretty bad in reverse. on the upside, out crawling a little blip of the throttle will allow the tires to spin and the chassis will settle back down. on our rock around here (it's mostly slick) the same thing happens. the front tires will slip and the chassis/suspension will settle back down.

True, it's running some flat irons.

Thanks Zach, I really love the wheels too. The offset possibilities are endless

Yeah I've noticed that it's the worst when all of the wheels are flat on a high traction surface. I've also been able to tune a good amount of it out by running less anit-squat in the rear and a hint of preload in the front.

Here is the Hard Line painted up. The stripes have a mist of Tamiya translucent blue backed with gunmetal grey. It's all backed with Tamiya black.

I used Gunnar's comp body mount kit. It was well worth the money and it came with more than enough pieces.

Looks like it's working pretty good. I was waiting for the rear flop around on sidehills and off-cambers but it doesn't. It's quite a bit narrower than your front. Guess you just have the shocks dialed.
Seems like a predictable setup.

Dig that jazz fusion, man. I totally vibed that.

The rig is looking great! What weight shock oil do you have in there?

I wonder when ol' whats-their-name is going to start making those rear 4 link mounts....

front is 11" and the rear is 10 3/8
The suspension feels really nice.

Greg Howe, Victor Wooten & Dennis Chambers - Extraction

On the shock oil - to be honest I don't know. I bought the shocks from a fellow rcc member. They were like new with perhaps some mock up use. They don't feel like my berg shocks which run 50wt so these have to be under 30w. It might even be what ever comes with those shocks in the Axial kit.
