The only thing that sucks is I missed out on the 540 size revolver on this last batch. By the time payday came around they were sold out. So I ordered three of the stubbies. Two for me and one for a friend. One of mine is going in my c3 rig. Can't wait to see how the stubby does.

Hahahaha.....ahhh......I didn't realize the housing rotated, I see why it's called the revolver. It does make for a slight challenge to reroute my wiring.

Yeah! Well it ground my dangly brake light wire bare, is what it did.....but it sweet! Gobs of power.

I only had limited gearing combinations though, what everyone else using

RRP.
56/13-14-15-16 (32p)

54/13-14-15-16 (mod .8 )

I was going to ask you guys how come I had no reverse, but I got it....it was the settings on the ECS, my drag brake/reverse was set too low.

And, yes I'll admit I didn't finish the wiki page about outrunners before I bought it, but I did finish this thread the day after I sent the payment.....come on I'm fishing for a participation ribbon.

Run taller than normal gearing with the standard size 540 s. Can't tell you exactly because I don't run 32 gears.

So is it water proof? I have not seen any thing that Holmes has written making such claim.

The sensor boards are conformally coated and will run underwater without glitching. We just don't claim waterproof.

Got my stubby installed. Hooked with a Tekin rs Gen2. 32p 56/18 & 2s. All I can say is Woa. This combo is great, the slow control is way better than I expected. No heat so I may try 3s. And play with the timing advance like I read here.
Downhill control so much better than my roc412.
My rig is a wraith around 6lb

I'm on 3s with my 540 s, with 54/16, and I also have no heat issues....the hottest thing in my BMRC IFS/IRS wraith is the servo?!?!...

I was looking to get one of these for a rig or two but since the regular size is out of stock I'm wondering what you'll loose performance wise with the stubby one.

Also is there plans of making more?
