Hey Harley, Thank you for all this info on 4PK. I have read every page now, and NOW I have to go get one. This is going to help me be a little better driver . I just can't seem to get the hang of my stick radio.

Who do we get a hold of at Futaba to talk you up some more?

HA HA Talk Harley up! He does enough of that himself. Just kidding Harley. We/Futaba are very aware of the AMAZING job he is doing for us.
I just finished up at Axial West Coast Challenge and I was blown away how many people are running 4PK's now. Harley has done a great job of helping people understand all the capabilities of the 4PK. OK enough pumping Harley up, his head is going to explode.

Hey all you guys with 4PK's, you NEED this case

Mine came in last week so I got to see how I liked it this weekend. The radio fits like a glove and all the extra spots are great for carrying other things like spare RX's, batteries, servos, some tools, etc. I used the foam from the slots as spacers in the larger areas.

Here are some pictures for a little more detail and size reference.

I am sure that "Tyrone" will be more than happy to search all the cavities in the case/you.

Thanks for the tips Harley. This thread has been handy in setting my 3PKS to work with my LCC. One thing I noticed is that upon power on the TX, 3rd Channel dig servo always defaults to -Value, not neutral/center. Did I missed something in the set-up?

Do you have any button assigned as a 2 position switch? If so then the radio will default to either the + or - value. Go to your switch and dial menus and double check that.

Default Dual FXR's on my Bully Rig

I have a question about dual FXr's and the 4pk...
I just got mine running...I have noticed that the rear ESC is not engaging as soon as the front.....the LED on the front ESC will show 1 LED while the rear shows nothing...once I goose it or give it more throttle the 1st LED will light up and the rear will turn the same speed as the front....now I know clod stall does happen...but this seems to be worse and excessive???

I wondered if I needed to back the drag brake down on the rear ESC so I went to 80rear and 90 front...but it did not seem to change much???
am I missing some adjustment?? I even tried bumping up the rear ESC % on the mixing and it still does it...although I did not back the front one down..just bumped the rear up to 110%..

thoughts?

sorry if this had been covered...I still have not read this whole thread..

53 Willys, try reprogramming the throttle positions on both FXR's at the same time. Sometimes if they are not programmed together you will get that same problem. I believe on the Tekins you just hold down the mode button for a fedw seconds to enter the reprogramming mode. Try that and let me know.

Make sure all your values are reset so both are just seeing 100%

Reviewed my setup and found out that my Ch3 servo is on Reverse causing the TX to default to -Value upon power on. Setting the Servo to Normal will force the TX to default to 0/neutral position. Thanks for quickly answering my query.

By request of a few people here is a really quick wiring diagram. Sorry for the quality, when printing from CAD it screwed up my line weights.

I will try and get a better one loaded up soon.

Sorry for the ENOURMOUS size! I made the link clickable now.

6 volts is a very safe voltage to run. That is what I run and what I suggest.

6 volts is also the max voltage the 4PK receiver is rated at as well.
