The more expensive (603FS)one has an internal and an external antenna, The other one (603FF) only has the external antenna.

Nice new Personalized skin . Looks good.

Thanks for the clarification for sure, now I know. Oh and thanks on the skin too, I sat over at Neal's house and we tweaked it just how I wanted. Loving it now, won't be grabbing anyone else's radio again by accident.

For the dual ESC's you want 604's for max control.

Most people get out of nomadio b/c of availbailty, but I have a ton of rx's, so that is not a problem. It seems the answer I am getting is "we are futaba fanboys".
I had a nomadio react, after burning through like 10 receivers I got rid of it. The only thing that was worse that the receivers was the customer service.

I loved the radio, loved being able to hook it up via usb to program, loved the features, just the rx's were crap.

You will have to go back and read through the setups. For a dual ESC with rear dig controlled by the trigger you need 4 channels. The 603's are what you use for everything else as there are no 2 channel RX's.

Thanks for the setups on the 4pk you saved me a lot of time, you also influenced me to return a spectrum and buy Futaba. Like many others I am glad I did. Just what the LCC MOA needed.

Another win for Futaba

Thank Mike, hope you like the radio.

Harley the wrap looks sweet.

"I had a nomadio react, after burning through like 10 receivers I got rid of it. The only thing that was worse that the receivers was the customer service."
Jason our receivers don't burn up and we have excellent customer service. Maybe you should ask Badger to get you a 4PK for Christmas.

"you also influenced me to return a spectrum and buy Futaba" Nice job Harley. You won't regret your decision Mike.

That is awesome. You are going to love the radio. If your running dual esc setup it is great.
I think Harley was a first grade teacher at some point. He has done an amazing job of walking through the setup of just about any configuration imaginable.

Well, I have no idea how you brun through the rx's, but I haven't had the problem. I jsut checked their site, I was wong, its max input isn't 12v, its 17v.

Again, What I am actually looking for is the differences in features, programmability and waht not. I don't care if some of you have had a bad experience with noamdio parts dying, becasue I haven't had the problem. I have been running nomadio for 3-4 years.

I would like to know if the 4pk actually does anything the nomadio doesn't, other than carry the badge. I'm not going to blow $500 on something that is no better than what I have already, but with a different badge.

Default Always on?

Harley I was wondering if you knew or if you could ask your friends at Futaba if there is a way to set the controller up so that the 3 and 4 channel are normally on instead of off. Then you could use the switchs in "nor" as momentary instead of on/off and could switch between digs alot faster.
Thanks for any help

Hmmm, I don't know that I am catching what you mean. The switches aren't "on or off" per say. They just send a differet signal to whatever is plugged into them (pulse width mod).

Give me some exact specs on your setup and I will see if I can suggest something to fit exactly what you want better.

Ok so when you set it up with 2 esc's you set 1 switch up to turn on and off pre mix 1 in "alt" and 2nd switch to turn on and off pre mix 2 in the "alt" position. So when you push it it turns it on then when you push it again it turns it off as set-up like you use. But if you leave the switchs in the "Nor" position you have to hold them down to activate that channel and when you let off it is deactivaded. And what I would like is that it is in 4wheel drive all the time hence 3 and 4 channel on all the time and then when you hold down the button it would open the signal the that channel instead of closing it. So you could hold the button when you want dig (open) and then let off and it automatically closes the channel again. Does that make sense hopefully?:?
Thanks

Would also love to have Futaba make a reasonably small receiver. These receivers are huge compared to any other big brands out there. That is my only real complaint so far.
