Just looking at your pic you can tell it's smaller. It's about 30% smaller is the spec.

That's a huge difference! Awesome.

Do you know if they're planning a smaller 3ch as well?

I haven't heard any plans about a 3CH RX yet.

Thanks for the pics. Is there a feature list yet for the 4PKS?

Not sure if it's been released yet. It has a faster response time and I think a couple other minor things like that. Nothing huge.

I believe it will have support for the new Li-Fe 5 Cell 1900 pack that was released for the 4PK but I don't think it is shipping with it. I believe it still uses the 5 Cell NiMH 1700 pack.

I don't know of any plans for a new 3 channel but that could change at any moment.

The big differences are of course the receiver and with the way the toggle for the menu works. It is soooooo much better now. It is very precise and smooth.

Like Harley said the response time is 2x's as fast as the 4PK. Not really a big deal with crawling.

There was talk of a LiFe pack being included. The one I got came with the same battery as the 4PK. I already put a LiFe in it though

Default 4PKS and R614FF in stock at Tower

FYI - Tower has both the new 4PKS and the R614FF Rx in stock now. Exactly one week after I purchased my 4PK...

Yea but I don't have the specs. I'll get them for you. It is a considerable reduction IIRC

I just bought the 4pk with the RX deal, $400 radio and a free rx is tough to beat. I dont see anything really all that mind blowing with the new 4pk that warrants a purchase unless your a "latest and greatest" kinda guy.

No $400 is a great price. But I am a "latest and greatest" guy. I was one of the first few guys in crawling with a 4pk, if I remember right I bought it about this time 2 years ago. If you dig deep in this thread, in the very beginning, I helped lay out how to correctly program the radio for dual ESC use. I typically buy every Futaba flagship surface radio whenever they are released, do I need to, no. Does it make me feel happy, yes
