I got my 3PK up and running with Dual ESC's this weekend, It works PERFECT! I set it up exactly as you had suggested and everything works just the same as the 4PK. I'm glad the 3PK was able to do this. I've had the radio for over a year and would hate to get rid of it!
Glad it all worked out for you Jesse If you need anything else feel free to post up in here, almost everything on the 3PK applies in here as well.

From experience, Futaba USA has one of the Best Customer Service even from hundreds of miles away. Can always give them a quick call, and they'll let you know what to do next. They sure are very efficient.

I decided not to skimp when it came to protecting my $500 radio. I couldn't find any hard sided cases that fit the radio so I bought the Futaba one. Fits like a glove and was money well spent

I have to agree with Whoodie, and the Futaba case is an amazing piece. It's incredible how many guys with 4PK's have popped for the case as well after seeing one.

Will a 4pk work with all of the FASST rx's?

Like this one?

No, it must be a surface receiver such as the 603FS or 604FS.

I'm having a really hard time figuring out why I would go with the 603FF vs 603FS. As far as I can tell they are exactly the same size, just one has two antennae and they're both the same price. How do I decide which one to use?

Also - does Futaba make a smaller Rx? These are huge compared to the Spektrum R3100's that I'm replacing.

Thanks,
Mike

Usually one of them is about $10 cheaper. I have not had range problems with any of them yet so the cheaper version is usually my choice.

The new 4PKs is shipping with the new smaller RX. Production samples have arrived in the US so the full shipment should be here soon. The smaller RX's should be soon after.

Thank you guy's for making this radidio almost as easy as a dx3r, i love the adjustability and the feel, yet there could be a bit more ease in adjusting the throw's and having the fwd/rvrse settings a bit easier, i had set mine up just like you had shown and ran it in a comp without testing/tuning, yes i did horrible, but with some time i feel i can get "used" to it! Once again thanks

I have seen pics of the new receivers and it looks like all they did was take the "hump" out... Are the actual footprint dimensions smaller?

Are you sure you are seeing pictures of the new RX's then? I have done the mod where you just remove the hump on my own RX's but these look completely different. They are about 30% smaller and much thinner.

Sweet! And these will work with the 4PK, right? This will be really useful in my MRC.

This is the image that I am speaking of, if it wrong I will remove this post. Just doesn't look much smaller... But I also can't see the side profile... Any specs possibly?
