Just looking at the spec's on the esc and it says

"Motor Limit: 27-turn (Single), 33-turn (Dual) 540-sized dual brushed motors"

Does this mean I cannot use it to run dual holmes hobbies hand wound torque master 45T's

Seems a but limited if you can only run up to dual 33-turn motors

Am I reading it right.

I believe that you could run anything 27T and up... just not a lower turn motor... which I don't know too many who do run lower than a 35T on a MOA.

Reverse woes..........ESC running great, just got full tilt reverse for some reason? Tried dialing several parameters in, but no luck in taming down the reverse. Anyone have any ideas?

yup, single 27t( i think you can go lower, but crawlers don't really need it),or dual 33t. So anything over in turns is ok

Pappy, what radio are you using and what is the EPA set too?

As stated no one has really had any major issues with basic operation so far. Have you completed the "ONe Touch Setup?"

If you have, try it again, but make sure your EPA's on the throttle Travel are set to 100%, not more not less, just for the sake of yours being the same as mine and the others I've worked with.

Also, don't hesitate to email me: csuangka@teamnovak.com Might take a day or two as I'm in the process of catching up on lot of other non crawler related stuff.

He is using a Spektrum DX3E. We messed with EPA, and Drive Frequency with no luck, and tried to access the M2 on the Novalink with no success. He'll have to email you.

Just to ensure clarity, the ESC does not just "plug in and go", there is a setup procedure that must be walked through before you should really try to drive it.

It's called the one touch setup in the manual.

If this is done correctly, and it "works correctly", there should be no need to "mess" with anything. Forward and reverse work virtually the same when the motors are setup right. Meaning forward is forward.

Rich C. What kind of deets do you need? The basics is, you simply need to have one switch set as a 3POS, and one switch as the 3rd Ch Trim. Then setup the ESC with the One Touch, and change to the Biasing Profile.

I've asked one of the testers with a camera to shoot some videos of it in action, but this hasn't happened yet.

I think you need to get those tester's on the ball. Like have then shoot a video of the one touch setup or even setting up a remote. Just a suggestion.

Just for clarification, can this be run by 2 independent throttle channels (mixed by the transmitter), or only by one throttle channel and a mixing channel (as it suggests in the online instructions)?

Thanks!

Way back when the 3pmx was new, Harley did a video how-to to show how to set up the dig. Something like that for the m2 would be kick-ass. Especially if it showed the throttle mixing.

If you send me an m2, I'll shoot a vid of how to set it up. I'll keep the m2 tho. I will also put a novak sticker on my truck. Oh yeah, and I'll try my best not to be 2nd to last anymore!

On second thought, I might not be the best representative for your company. If you send me one to make a video, I'll agree to send it back to you. Unless I lose the return address.

Rich C.

ps: I think your post has enough to go on, I could probably get it done with that. And if you don't send me one, I'll probably be ordering one in the next 2 weeks anyway... But a step-by-step video would be a good thing, and I'm willing to help if needed.
