The new firmware (0.4.2 and above, most recent is 0.6.1) has been optimized so the firmware adds very little delay. The main bottleneck is the 20ms latency caused by the Flysky 2.4GHz tech...but the slow tech also gives you cheap rx's. It's a trade off.... I have no experience with on-road cars so I can't recommend if it can be used or not at the slower speed tech. The difference isn't really noticeable though in a crawler... Quote:

I also have (10) wall/usb chargers coming for the GT3C battery. It's alot nicer than always having to plug in your radio I'll start stocking batteries when I figure out the proper way to ship them...but you can get them off ebay or elsewhere on the web. |

I know stupid question but the $100 includes the updated radio and a programmer to do another radio, or that has to be purchased separately?

This includes a programmer so the radio can be upgraded to a new firmware at a later point in time. It is the same programmer included in our firmware kit. | |

It's cost more to include the programmer (like $15-20) but that doesn't include the header. So you'd still have to buy that separate to do another radio. However, I've currently disabled that option on the GT3C because hardly no one ever wanted one when I was selling the gt3b's pre modded....and I'm running low on programmers...and because I want these to be ready to ship when ordered, so I've stripped away alot of the optional upgrades I offered. Hey.... Aewsome product. I'm using a hacked GT3c for 3 position dig on my scx10 and electronic DID and 4ws on a Clodbuster....so far I'm impressed. But, what I'm trying to work out.... Can I use the steering wheel to controll DIG/esc mixing???? Or can I only assign it to the trim and dr buttons? I'm building a 1/10 tracked vehicle and like the idea of using a pistol style controller |

Yes, just the first step you listed. That will cause the steering wheel to adjust the proportion between the two tracks. Plug 1 esc into channel 1 and the other esc into channel 2 You don't need to "map or assign" the steering wheel to the dig mix. It happens automagically. The trigger still determines the speed |
