Yeah, both of my BR-XL start up faster than my Sidewinder. You don't have very good low speed control with it. I have swapped in my Sidewinder (throttle curves haven't been tampered with) with the same battery/motor combo and it works just fine. It's the only thing that I don't like about them.

Interesting. My motors seem to whine plenty before they start up. I will look into it and see if there is any remedy.

I did the same. Tried both Sidewinders and both my MambaMax's and they have a super slow start up. The BR, not quite.

I think I was noticing the same startup issue at the scale nats on my trail rig.

I thought it might be the motor I was using though (21t 550 can)

I destroyed my 30t handwound during the ttc, and didn't have very many chances to notice if it was still doing it though.

I'll have to throw another motor in there and check it out.

Hmmm. Quality motors....

I guess I might not be noticing it because I'm using mine in a Losi?

Could be. I've been using mine in the berg mostly, 55t handwound 6s lipo and 8t pinions. Probably the low pinions hiding it for me.

We will get it fixed. There are enough discrete steps in the PWM control that there is room for improvement.

I tried resetting the endpoints again as well as 2 different radios(3PK and React) with the same results.

if it helps I was running 3 and 4s on a 21t 550 trinity motor, and a 30t handwound when I noticed it.

**edit** it was also way worse in reverse.

like half trigger was dead

Hey John. I purchased 2 of the BR-XL's for my super. Set them both up the same with the castle link before wiring up.
Got them wired up today, one programmed easily, the other one will not beep and/or go into program mode, and it made a huge pop in my motor. It seems to have blown up something in the motor.
( I checked these motors the other day for forward/ reverse rotation/polarityand they were working fine. The one that popped will not work at all now???!!)
I got some spare motors out and again the one works fine other will not beep or go into program mode.
Both are wired the same. I Only had one plugged in at a time as i was trying to set up on a DX7 Stick radio.

Options, Suggestions???

Could be a DOA controller. I double test them all here, but sometimes you just don't know what may happen. You are more than welcome to send it in for a replacment or repair if needed.

Thanks John ! I will get it sent first thing tomorrow. I checked and double checked everything, I also think it might have been doa. I will run it with dig till it gets back. Thanks a bunch !

Justin lunceford. Senatobia, MS 38668.
I was on my way out of town and just packed it up and sent it.
Got to thinking about it at the comp today and realized you probably were wondering why a esc was stuffed in a box and sent to ya.

Thanks for the help.
