Sorry if this was answered before.. But I bought one for my 2.2s rig.. And have yet to install it. My question is will I run into the same heat problems as you would with a dual setup? Or will I be fine since there is only one?

I run my BEC direct wired to my servo if that helps any.

Gracias

It will still be warm, but not a problem.

So I went through my batteries 30ish only 12 will work with the br minis.
I know the "bad packs" are good. However they just can't handle the br mini esc.
Gen aces 450 25c (12) and CBP elite (all 5) won't work.
So my options are larger mah or turn off or lower LVC or maybe jump up to 4s ?lipo?
If I turn off LVC and battery can't handle load puff maybe fire?

What is LVC set @ stock?

You don't need bigger packs. You just need to get packs that have a higher c rating. Those 25c packs can't produce enough current.

That's one of the most popular 2.2P packs there is. If the mini doesn't work with those batteries maybe there's something going on with the mini.

Check your LVC with CastleLink. Maybe they're set wrong. Or maybe the mini has so much less resistance than previous esc's it's pushing more amps to the motor.

A few people have experienced cutouts when switching from sidewinder micros. The BRmini does allow for a higher amp flow, which beats packs harder.

I'm expericing the same issues with my cbp 450 25c 3s lipos, mine cut out on the front motor bad almost everytime, this will be an issue for me since my rig spends alot of time on its top.

is there an eta on the firmware updates?

Anyone running Max amp batteries with the br mini Experiencing LVC issues?
I'm leaning toward buying a few max amp 430mah 100c 3s.

Wired mine up like RcBro's setup, in my berg at 4lbs.... Red wires pulled going into the receiver. BEC set at 6.3v. Holmes 35t hand wound, 18G wire. 450 30c batteries. Deans micro plugs. 13/14 gearing. Ran fine perfectly for a few days and now my front motor stops. The ESC running the frt motor arms then turns off and then re-arms. When it shuts off, the ESC hits 140 pretty quickly. When it was workin, it was ran between 120-140 temp. I turned the BEC down to 6.1v and turned off the LVC. Hoping it works again.
When it works, it's a great ESC. Smooth and good punch.

I've got 2 smashed in my Xr, bec removed on front esc, bec on rear esc powering rx, holmes hold off, direct wired castle bec for servo set at 7.4 volts, brood 35t vapors, no Zener installed, 3s batts, micro deans
No problems whatsoever and esc package never gets above 120*

Turn off holmes hold everyone!, it won't work till the next castle firmware update

Can you do me a favor and shoot some pics of your set up? I do have the holmes hold turned off. After turning the LVC off and dropping the
CC BEC to 6.1v everything seems good so far. I do run just a tick under 140 deg after a 8 min comp senerio practice.
