Great. Thanks. I have a super small 2c alarm I got from maxamps ages ago. Its probably 1"x0.5". And that 2000mah lipo should last forever.

Again, Thanks for your help.

Well, one more question. That balancing tap isn't standard (2c alarm is align) so I found another pack that fits but it has ~16AWG wires, as any battery would.

Are there any draw backs from soldering on a JST connector with 22AWG wire to fit the react connection? Basically the 16AWG TO 22AWG issue.

John, I'm starting a rock racer build and was wondering about the electronics. On my 2.2 crawler I have your 45t, sidewinder and 3s 1600 and the combo is great, love the wheelspeed and the torque snaps CVD pins... I ordered the sidewinder along with your 30t, what would you suggest for a battery size? 2s or 3s? What mah? I would like to keep it light, have some low range torque for crawling along with the wheelspeed, but also some runtime. Not yet sure how much space I will have for the battery so that might restrict the choices also.

John, Im currently runnning a 500 cobalt in my Bronco scaler. I love how it drives, but Im still having heat issues. Any idea when youll have more of these in stock? Id like to have a back up. Do you have any brushes available right now? What would you say if I wanted to replace this motor/esc set up with a Tekin RS brushless combo? Would I have the same crawlability along with plenty of wheelspeed? What turn motor would I want? I just want to be sure Ill be happy with it before I invest $300 in a motor/esc. Can I expect cooler temps and longer run times? How about cogging or slow speed control? I know, lots of questions...thanks in advance. Tim.

7t cobalt in an Axial. Just use it for bashing. Can you recommend a lipo?

John,

Will the 7T Puller on a 2S in a scale rig kill a Castle Sidewinder sport ESC?

Thanks

I really like 3s personally. 2200s are used most frequently when runtime is of concern, and 1300mah is used when space is of concern.

I have more on order, should have them in a few days. I don't have any brushes on my site, but I will put them up asap.

An RS combo is a great setup. You will have more overall power available, less motor heat, and plenty of control. downside is more weight. In sensored mode there is no cogging. In hybrid mode (last I checked) they will stop pushing if you bind it up.

For the 7t a 25c 2200 would be my choice. 2s will run nice and cool, 3s will make the motor heat up a bit.

A 1/10 sidewinder would be just fine.

Thanks John. What turn motor would I look for (in the Tekin RS/Redline) if I wanted the same kind of wheelspeed as the 14t cobalt has? 17.5t, 21.5t?

17.5 would be a close match.

I'm in the process of building a clod super and I was going to run 2 55t motors on a sidewinder but I just picked up another sidewinder and I was thinking of running brushless. Any suggestions on motors/gearing on 3s lipo's?

Thanks

What do I need to balance a Losi 600mah lipo with my EOS606i?

I think it's the HP-LB10-TP ....

Nothing for comp use with a sidewinder at the moment, not brushless. The performance unsensored just isn't good enough. For gearing, I like 8t pinions with 3s.

Yes, but it will run hot.

I don't know actually. Can you measure the pin spacing? TP is 2mm. The rest are .1" or 2.54mm

Both pullers won't fit the pinions? I had one or two slip by that didn't get turned down.
