Thank you for answering my qustions. I just got my rig and after getting it and buying the battery, charger, 1.9 rims and tires I just don't habe the money to spend to make it more scale!

I did change tires, but both sets were class 2 legal I ran 1.9 ripsaws in class 2 and 1.9 swamper XL in class 3 I even ran the 1.9 swampers in the TTC. I'm planning on doing close to the same thing this year in Colorado, I'm shooting to run the same truck in class 2 and 3 with 50 scale points that's under 5 1/2 pounds it's going to be close but I think it's possible.

Perfect, it will be a battle of the c2 rigs in c3 I am doing the same thing. My bronco is a shade over 5lbs, totally possible.

I'm planning a light weight Mog for this year, thinking about using it in C1 and 2. TZF chassis and tube instead of solid rod.

I wish I lived closer to you fellows. My c2 is just slightly over 4lb with -50 scale points now.

Can't break 4lb barrier with a hard body, tube work, winch, metal bumpers, etc....

That's pretty light! Come out to Colorado in April for Rocky Mountain Scale Nationals.

You don't know how awesome that would be for me. You guys have a great landscape there compared to where I am in ohio.

I may check out airfares? Maybe it's not as expensive as I thought.

I used all aluminum tubing, interior, and bumpers. Lot of work but it performs very well.

Yep, that's why I decided to build just one good rig for both classes. I still have a little bit of time to a least get the metal work done. Problem now it finding a damb Mog cab, no one has them in stock.

Thanks, but no build thread. I am just a hack builder anyways. I mean there are some awesome builders out there. But my trucks are reliable and preform awesome.

Last week at badlands shootout the truck worked great and managed a -65 for the win out of 48 class 2 trucks.

So i am really happy with the truck. Tons of hours testing set ups with it but it's paying off.

This is an old picture before I finished the interior and bed. Now everything is hidden with fender wells and frame plates.

This was a good 9 pages of reading to catch up on things.
The SORRCA rules are simple and easy to read from what i have seen so far.

No i dont have an vaterra. But i do have Stomper with 2 battery's mounted on my sliders but covered by the body so they cant be seen.
Going by what i have seen on here and in the rules I should be ok with them there. Or have i missed something?

As long as they are hidden and mounted to the sliders (chassis) they are fine. Glad you agree with the simplicity and ease of the rules. See you on the trails and courses!
