Sitting as is, I counted -17 or** -20 if that rear bar is a bumper**, can't really tell from the pics.

-4 hard body cab
-4 truggy back
-1 metal shock hoops welded on
-3 metal sliders
-3 metal front bumper
-1 front stinger
-3 rear bumper**
-1 spare tire mount

You could gain more points with a interior or exo cage, but I think you'll add points up pretty quick once it's all together.

Nice work by the way!

That is a great looking rig! The shock mounts are fine. As far as extra points....I'm not so sure an exo is the way to go (visually), I like it without.
How about an interior cage? You can easily hit -50 scale points with that rig how it sits. The trick is building a full interior with a driver. Good luck!

Ha! Looks like Shon is a bit quicker than me this morning.

It's stated that you are allowed to remove a hardtop in C1, but have to have a full windshield - would replacing the stock windshield with something custom fabbed (that still meets dimensions etcetera) remain legal? Here's an example of what I mean (I'm building a different model of unimog, but would be doing the same style of tubework if I were to go this route):

Without the windshield on for a better look at the tube/roof removal:

again, unsure if I'm going to go this route, but thought I'd ask beforehand.

also, multi axle rigs allowed in c1 now? woot!

Asked this way back on page one, and noew have some real world progress. 99% sure this C1 legal, but thought I'd post it up for the hell of it (there is plastic in the windows, might be able to see from the reflections):

For class one the bumper has to be the width of the windshield. It that to receive the scale points. Or will you not be allowed to drive with a bumper narrower than the windshield.

Bumper has to be the width of the windshield to be class1 legal.
If the bumper is metal or plastic then determines the amount of scale points you get for it.

Thank you sir. More I thought about it the more that made sense. Or everyone would just loose the points and run narrow as heck bumpers.

Not with those tires. Other than that nothing stands out that would make it illegal. Make sure with the new tires that you have half tire coverage.
