Once again, can't beleive I missed this update! Paint looks good. Are you going to leave it that flat blue or are you gonna through a clear coat over it?

Have to finish the paint before I decide on what to do- still have to do the fender flares in white, And mask out the ranger hood scoop. Interior needs to be finished and with that comes a ton of chores the largest of which is hiding/ mounting the steering servo. L.R. |

Great job. How did you attach the styrene to the lexan?

thus far no styrene has been attached to lexan, except for on my uncut body- that method was described somewhere in this thread. When I do get to the point of attaching the body I am going to use magnets. I still welcome ideas or suggestions on what I can make or do better! L.R. |

I have to admit, the spare tire carrier came out really well. I am working on the front core support now- sorry for the delay, hunting season is here so I have been "busy". still love to hear your ideas on what I can do with this thing! L.R. |

I was waiting for someone to post the emoticon that says "this thread is worthless with out pics!" then it dawned on me, not this thread but this PAGE. so here are some pics~ I had a goof up- though not huge- I made 2 core supports, the first a bit small- its for sale if someone wants it? process is the same as with ALL of the custom parts I have made- starts out with a picture of what I am trying to "make" put carbon paper under the correct sized image, and styrene under the carbon paper- then trace the part. cut out part and test fit~ the 2 "tabs" that are in between the frame rails actually hold the bottom of the radiator- they have a cup to them back towards the engine- correct sized part versus the original I had made and pretty well finished! the right sized one is pretty dang huge! (and exactly scale as it should be) top down checking body mount spacing- looking good! checking for clearance inside the body~ no issues here, a perfect fit! L.R. |

got the steering wheel figured, I need to find some plastic tubing the same diameter as my steering column. going to print up some inner fender aprons now and see if I cant get the front end tied together! L.R. |

inner fenders have been challenging- switched over to steering. decided to mount up the servo in the place of the radiator to simplify linkage. It looks ok I guess. Pics hopefully later tonight. L.R. |

some more pics~ just checking placement of everything- checking on the body mounts and brackets I fabbed- inner fender apron~ new servo mounting ideas~ not too crazy about that long arm sticking out the top of my "real" gearbox, but I am kinda at a loss- If I go this route the top of the servo will get kicked out (forward) so the whole thing leans a bit- easiest way to avoid clearance issues. here it is OUT of the truck so you can see things a bit better. top down view- thats a pretty THICK radiator! What can I say I dont want to have any cooling issues thoughts, ideas? L.R. |

new, mucho improved super oil pan servo placement! the problem with this location is the super SHORT throw- I think I need to take a trip to my LHS to figgure this one out. it is right at or just under 1 inch from servo horn to PS arm. close up~ its an improvement for sure! L.R. |
