I'm waiting for one of those Currie Anti-rocks too. The Axial one looks good though.

Got it out on the rocks. Seriously impressed in the field and on the track. Works well crawling, but not as well as my Wraith. The extra length in the rear is noticeable, good for stability, bad for dragging every where. The "hole" created by the traction bars, rear end and skid is massive. It gets hung up pretty frequently.

Sway bar is a huge improvement, both in traction and handling. I need to tighten up my slipper a bit, it's my first experience with the RRP unit.

I made the exact same sway bar set up for my bomber, and mine "can" rub on the rear frame slightly.

But like you said, our yeti swaybar set-up is just temporary...

Short video, no music, no editing. RRP slipper sings when it gets bound up

Im running the same Robinson spur. The lock nut is just past flush and the spring seems to be fully compressed.

I found out that you have to clean those RRP steal spurs before install. Tossed mine on and could not keep it tight. Some one on here suggested cleaning with brake-clean or some other kind of degreaser. Seems to hold a tune better now. They must put some thing on them to stop the rust.

Truck looks great btw.

They have to be broken in, let it slip in beginning to break it in then as it wears in, tighten it up till you like it.

Props on the rig maslin, lookin good with that stance.

Pulled it apart to degrease and noticed it's wearing through the coating. I'll keep it tightened up, some things need a little break in.

Ordered some VP upper rear links, should have them tomorrow.

Snow day with the bomber and ax10 monster truck. It's what a Wraith should have been, constant smiles.

So just so I am clear, you used 100mm shocks front and rear for your primary.

Slash front on the front, Slash rear on the rear. So 90mm/100mm

Rough day on the snow track, I think everyone broke something

Spur gear cut a battery cable on my kraton, so the Bomber came out to play. Finally broke a universal. Lots of hours on these, they were sloppy months ago.

Fresh universals and a hot racing motor mount on the way.

Hey Maslin, did you ever run the stock shocks on yours at all? I am just asking to see if you saw an improvement when you went to the ProLine PowerStrokes. I have some shocks off of my old XRay 808 that would actually work except I cannot find a light enough front spring to fit, they would be killer if I could though..

The stockers are ok but lack in control once the speed go up. I had it running across some of our fields in East Texas last weekend and it was just tossed all over the place, it needs better dampening.

I did not. I knew right away the tall ride height wouldn't work for me. I have also made a habit of mounting the lower end of the the shocks to the outside of the mounts, helps a lot with stability. You can kind of see it in the background of the bottom pic.

Got a free $36 gift certificate from Tower a few weeks ago, spent $35.88 and got free shipping I haven't had the best luck with rear trans outputs, so I picked up a spare. Body clips are always good, and the Hot Racing motor mount seemed like a good deal.

Disappointed to find out it doesn't come with the motor plate. Oh well, it was free.

Fresh set of universals as well, ready to go for the snow track on Sunday.

Hey Maslin, I have one more question for you sir. I am running the same wheels as you and am looking at the Vanquish scale knuckles along with the clamping chubs like you are using. We're you able to use the hubs that came with the Raceline wheels or did you have to use one of the wider hubs such as what Vanquish sells? It looks like the hubs that came with the wheels would work, but if I had to order wider I would rather do it all at once instead of finding out the hard way that I needed them. Thanks man

I'm using the hubs that came with the wheels. The bolt on the right tie rod/drag link is pretty close to the tire, but it has only caught once in 2 years.

From what I understand the 6 bolt pattern is slightly off from SLW, but can be egged out a bit to work.

Got some time at the snow track Sunday. Could really use some more power, 2 pole 540 just lacks the needed grunt. A little more speed would be good, can't quite keep up with the SCTs

Grabbed a bit of the video off youtube, the full 5 minutes is here (not much of the Bomber, the guy with the GoPro has the Vaterra): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyaOPuu74Ho

HH Puller Pro 540XL should be on your short list. Serious grunt and speed from that powerhouse. Both my friends have it in their bombers and mine is on the way.

Pretty sure the 3500 XL is my short list. I'm too invested in 3s to drop to the 2200kv, and my tralilmaster has been excellent.

Ready to go for tomorrow. This should help with traction roll

Dropping from 5.75" Pitbulls to 4.20" Pitbulls will mathematically drop my top speed from 22.5 to 16.4mph. 4s will bring it back to 21.2, bumping up a pinion to 14t will take it to 22.9.

Well see how it goes. Smaller, lighter wheels should spin up faster we well. One of the other guys is going to run 2.2/3.0 paddles, should be entertaining.
