No issues with the scale Cs on the SSD housing. I wouldn't hesitate to use SSD housings, I quite like them.

maybe this Bomber/CMS/Prototype can be your way to go.

I'm also not happy with the servo position on my Bomber, even moved back a bit still too exposed.

Good to know, if I can't find the VP housing locally I may go that route. Those updated mounts look good, should be much more secure with screws going through them in to the truss, rather than spinning on to studs.

This looks like overly aggressive driving habits. Maybe you should slow down. And stop picking on that orange AX10, it looks like a nice rig.

This thing is sweet

While the hardware supplied is bagged with individual pieces, instructions that aren't for the scx10 would nice. Call VP... goes to voicemail, mailbox full, hangs up on me. Sweet.

Keep guessing at the 100 or so tiny pieces of metal in front of me, not sure what some things are for, lots of extra screws, lots of mounts/holes in parts that don't go anywhere

But man this thing is nice. I think it's all together correctly? The left link mount looks suspect, only 2 screws far away from the actual link holding it on. Did I mention it looks nice Next step, get it on the Bomber...

It's beefy, 360g as pictured.

Extra hardware. Servo mounts/upper links are in there, not sure on the rest.

I had a bunch of leftovers after I put mine together as well. It's funny about the instructions. Seems VP is having some trouble with QC lately. Lots of people seem to be sharing issues all of a sudden. I hope they come out with a delrin skid of some sort. The aluminum likes to get hung up on stuff.

Damn, that looks badass. Trying real hard not to reach for my wallet. I have at least three trucks that could use a set of these.

I haven't been excited about a part in a while. It's seriously nice, not sure on all the extra holes and stuff though. There's an additional link (shock?) mount over the normal mounts, facing sideways. I believe the long set screws would be for that. More mounting options are always a good thing.

Yeah VP stuff is always top shelf. I remember the first time I got their Currie rock jock axle I was blown away at the detail and quality. I beat on mine pretty good and haven't had a single issue. They are definitely stout axles.

Very very nice man, I'm jealous. You mounted your servo upside down.

Any clearance issues up front with the new gear? Looks like you lost a ton of uptravel with that giant truss!

Put the screws in backwards too

I did lose ~2mm of up travel on the drivers side, the truss over the pumpkin hits the frame. The clearance of the right is actually better, 3 or 4mm of air between the truss and frame with the shock bottomed out.

I have my drag link running behind the tie rod, with the servo moved back. Everything tucks in nicely. I'll add some pics in a bit to show it.

That's not to bad. Just now realizing that pic was at full compression! Originally I was like holy crap! Looked like you had about a 1/4 to 1/2" of travel!
