I think another Arkansaw'er will be giving you a shout for one of these axles in the future.

.....

Expecting some key parts in tomorrow afternoon and the middle of the week.

Got the body I think I'll run and cut it up. I will be grafting the rear shock portion of the EXO onto the wraith next.
Got in some STRC front knuckles. Just clear the TSS Rockcrawlers. I put the wheels on my drill press and used a file to knock off the some of the beadlock ring.
MIP shafts in as well.
More parts coming.

Body still in mock up mode.

Nice work.

I was going to use the router lift and a chamfer bit to clearance the RC4WD headlock rings if it came to that.

Thanks. I copied from JasonInAugusta on the exo/wraith/exo mash up but I wanted to run a body and try some other things.

With the boss claws, 350 hubs up front and and 475 hubs out back.
It's 12" outside tires up front and 11.75" out back. New tires and CrawlerInnovations foams on the way.

I really like these TSS Rockrawlers and modded them to fit SLW hubs a while back. With 350 hubs up front and a bit of chamfer on the inner beadock ring they fit nice.

It's a culmination of searching for hours and finding a body that roughly looked like a truck that had the width and wheelbase I needed. Front is a little raked out but I might be able to get it looking right by moving the body forward a bit.

Got the rear EXO cage/shock mounts fitted up and used 1/8" solid rod (copied JIA on this too). Everything is mocked up and fit in just need to rework the roof and then glue it all up.

I have had some old HR ~120mm shocks hanging on my shop wall for years. Just finally getting a chance to use them. Work great for the rear!

There ya go!

I plan on using SMC to join the pinned sections when I glue the joints together.

Ok, what's SMC?
I have some two part epoxy that I usually use for most of my RC builds.

I really like how the rear EXO graft looks. Awesome idea . I am just lucky I had those 120mm's laying around.

Couple more pictures.

Thanks. I built this a while back but my current build is a little different.

Szczerba's Trophy Truck Build.. With Videos

.................................................. ..........................................

Crawler Innovations new 5mm outputs
--(I am running the longer output towards the rear. Most applications will have the longer output shaft up front to clear bigger spurs.)
Crawler Innovations Double Deuce 6" foams
Crawler Innovations Wraith Electronics Tray

2.2 Rok Lok's

MIP Wraith Shafts

Pictures 5 and 6 show a couple of wraith braces that fit in between the Exo rear and the wraith rear. Not the best support but these just bolted right up.

Cage is drying with two part epoxy and 1/8" solid rods at the joints.

I just added up all the lights I want on this truck. I think the count is at 19 now. Probably going to go with the Axial NVS system and a lot of extra leds added. :thumb:

Top is done and has 1/8" solid rod "pins" about 1/2" long inside the joints. Used two part gorillia glue epoxy. And drilled 4 holes in the top to secure other parts.
Circled in red in second picture.

The front part of the top EXO 3 bar triangle piece doesnt really match up when you cut them down. So, the new joined together pieces are not 100% straight.

Does 19 not bug you... I would have to have an even number.

nah. Roof lights are 5 count. everything else is even numbers. Plus that's one less LED in the wire rat's nest.
I just need to hunt down one blue LED for the rear facing light bar.
I should be able to get all the lights this time next week.

Thinking main yellow body color, with white accent stripe and black hood. Only colors I have at the house right now are red, silver, green, black and burn your eyes neon yellow.
