Got the body I think I'll run and cut it up. I will be grafting the rear shock portion of the EXO onto the wraith next. Got in some STRC front knuckles. Just clear the TSS Rockcrawlers. I put the wheels on my drill press and used a file to knock off the some of the beadlock ring. MIP shafts in as well. More parts coming. Body still in mock up mode. ... I like the Bronco skin. Whats your front track width with those wheels? |

Nice work. I was going to use the router lift and a chamfer bit to clearance the RC4WD headlock rings if it came to that. |

| Re: Szczerb'a Wraith Build, of sorts Thanks. I copied from JasonInAugusta on the exo/wraith/exo mash up but I wanted to run a body and try some other things. Quote:
It's 12" outside tires up front and 11.75" out back. New tires and CrawlerInnovations foams on the way. Quote:
It's a culmination of searching for hours and finding a body that roughly looked like a truck that had the width and wheelbase I needed. Front is a little raked out but I might be able to get it looking right by moving the body forward a bit. Thanks. Going for that trophy/desert/G6 truck look.

Got the rear EXO cage/shock mounts fitted up and used 1/8" solid rod (copied JIA on this too). Everything is mocked up and fit in just need to rework the roof and then glue it all up. I have had some old HR ~120mm shocks hanging on my shop wall for years. Just finally getting a chance to use them. Work great for the rear! |

There ya go! I plan on using SMC to join the pinned sections when I glue the joints together. |

I have some two part epoxy that I usually use for most of my RC builds. I really like how the rear EXO graft looks. Awesome idea . I am just lucky I had those 120mm's laying around. Couple more pictures.

I just added up all the lights I want on this truck. I think the count is at 19 now. Probably going to go with the Axial NVS system and a lot of extra leds added. :thumb: Top is done and has 1/8" solid rod "pins" about 1/2" long inside the joints. Used two part gorillia glue epoxy. And drilled 4 holes in the top to secure other parts. Circled in red in second picture. The front part of the top EXO 3 bar triangle piece doesnt really match up when you cut them down. So, the new joined together pieces are not 100% straight. |

Does 19 not bug you... I would have to have an even number.

| Re: Szczerb'a Wraith Build, of sorts nah. Roof lights are 5 count. everything else is even numbers. Plus that's one less LED in the wire rat's nest. I just need to hunt down one blue LED for the rear facing light bar. I should be able to get all the lights this time next week. Thinking main yellow body color, with white accent stripe and black hood. Only colors I have at the house right now are red, silver, green, black and burn your eyes neon yellow. |
