No, because they are all part of a tuber. You can't "truggy" a tuber.

I believe a tuber has no ladder frame. Truggy has half ladder front. Rear starting a the skid is made from tube.

Thank you for the clarification, we never gave a tuber truggy points, but after the revisions I wasn't sure.

What do you think? Here's the rules for Class 3:

Class-3 “Modified” Details:
• 146mm / 5.75" max tire size with a 2.2 max rim size (including spare).
• A bumper is not required, but to be counted for points it must be mounted to the vehicle's chassis and wider than the the chassis rails (chassis cross rails do not count as bumpers).
• Gates will be a minimum of 13" wide.
• All bodies (including tubers) must measure a minimum of five inches wide from front to rear of door, measure a minimum of 4.5 inches tall as measured from the skid to the tallest point on the body (including light bars), and must be at least as long as the vehicle's wheelbase.
• Body modifications including, but not limited to, pinched front, dove-tailing and boat-siding are permitted as long as the final dimensions comply with the minimum size rules.

If it fits in these rules it will:

If it's anything like my Campbell tuber, no it will not because the the wheelbase is longer than the chassis.

Only if we want to make it as fun and competitive for as many different rigs as we can.

Not really. That rig there is the least scale looking buggy I've ever seen. Nothing like a 4 year old comp rig with a driver glued on it and called a scaler. The ESC is on the hood! This rig is what the rules are here to keep out of scale comps .

that pic the esc is not covered, and how is it not realistic to the real life campbell buggies that run at off road parks? not every scaler is axial chassis and a yota body..........especially coming from some with awesome builds like yours

If you pull the axles back a bit, get them under the chassis, and it meets the other requirements then it's good to go!

Why, it's supposed to be a "scale" representation of the one pictured?

If the rules force you to change the scale appearance from what it is being modeled, then the rules are wrong.

The rules also say the chassis has to be as long as the wheelbase. I know mine is not and it appears his is not as well.

The true Campbell looks to be right at it.... So needs to be a scale representation then huh....?

Don't care what the "rules" say.

If it resembles the 1:1 used for reference, then it's a "scale" representation.

Again, common sense seems to have "left the building".

I'm done. You guys have at it.

Like I said, the 1:1 looks to have the axles right at the ends of the chassis.
So if it was a scale representation it would be the same? Right?

I think it's a scale looking truck without a class to run in:

Class-3 “Modified”
• Description - An off-road vehicle that you would build from the ground up and might see in a
TTC/KOH type competition.

Unfortunately there is no "Class-4 Rock Racer" class for 2012. Instead of arguing if it's scale or not (which I think it is), talk to your reps about getting a rock racer class added for 2013. The rules for 2012 have been decided so abiding by them is the best that can be done.

This is the Class-3 Campbell picture that should have been posted:
