It was a great day, we had a few light rain showers pass over, the rock dried out very quickly, it didn't really bother us too much. We just kept on trucking!

Man, can't believe I skipped over your thread and missed nearly a WEEKs worth of pics! Fantastic shots of both R/C and 1:1 rigs, more than I could even begin to describe...

Love those heavily-scrubbed-in 1:1 Goodyear MT/Rs, they must be nearly as soft as your Scorpios! Congrats to your boy on the win, for sure...

And that "Part 3" video is one of your best yet, short but full of a wide variety of skills being displayed. I gotta get out more, find some other crawlers... Peace!

Thanks Durok, glad you are all enjoying the pics!

I’m thinking about retiring the Chevy body after this years crawler comp season, thinking about using the proline ambush body and making it my comp rig, try and get the front tyres to stick out in front of the body, no bumper, get it as low as I can, go back to WB4 with the chassis and run it for a year like that!

This body is growing on me and I’m willing to trade all the scale goodness of the Vaterra body for the advantages of the Ambush.....maybe!

I think you could make a very unique and cool build with the above body - and a set of the new Proline BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires at 4.75" tall should help out with the approach angle!

BUT - you need to make a scale "Bikini" fabric top for it... the crowning touch...

Good ol international scout. I almost used that instead of my bronco body but decided to use the bronco for the cut out doors. I really like the looks of that one. Has a really scale interior design. I drove a 79 scout back in like 92 so I'm a little biased. Also my Dad had one he used to pull the stock car with that was that exact color!

I was looking at a couple after market grills and with a little modifications you can make a land rover grill fit and it is very similar so you could add more scaleness to the grill.

I like that one too...been looking at it.

Looks like Axial just announced a new 'dead bolt' version based on SCX10-II. I might just have to go to the dark side for one more rig. ;)

A little bit of the " Proline By The Fire, Ascenders Assemble! " came to me a short while ago!!!!

Much Thanks must go out to Natedog! you are the man!

Ernie I know you offered to send me a shirt, but I didnt feel worthy and was happy for HumboldtEF to recieve it, also I was worried about the size. Natedog just would not take no for an answer and had a larger size he was wanting to send! awesome guys!

Everyone on the Ascender forum ROCKS!
