Nice looking tires at a great price. Nice to see independent R&D and product development for the industry. They have a rich history.

Their foam inserts look like what PitBull is putting in their tires now - the dark gray open cell foam.

started using graphite powder to lube all the CVD's. seems to be working well, pins are lasting a lot longer, i was just using engine oil before and everything was just a oily gritty mess grinding away at everything.

Goofing off after all the courses were run and busted a CVD!
this is the original axle from when it was a first release RTR K5 Blazer, its pretty old!

also think I fried the RTR Twin Hammers speed controller zinging it around on the sand dunes on 3s, got steering and gear shift but no throttle or beeps from ESC on power up, red light comes on etc but no power to the motor...

I’m amazed you have only broken. 1 cvd! I’ve already gone through a few.. think I should change my driving style... but looks like you have had plenty of fun! And that’s what matters

It's the second one I have broken, busted the other side one ages ago when it had the K5 Blazer body on it. I like to have the slipper backed off a little and I tend to give up early on trying to drive it out of a tough bind. Looks like I beat the crap out of it from the outside though.....

You are going to need some new axles pretty soon!!!
Does your radiator get hot with your grill broken like that?

Very nice pictures, would love to be out crawling in nice sunny warm rocky beach like that! It's chilly, super windy and dirt n dust blowing here today. CVDs from my OG Blazer have been hanging in, but my newer RTR that's now my K10 broke one early on, Vaterra re-worked the CVDs awhile back and added more beef to them, I'm running one of them in my K10 and so far it's been fine. I have a pair of VP CVDs as backup to my backup, but as long as the newer Vaterras keep holding on 3s with tight slipper, I'll stay with them.
