Dudes.. This YJ is really coming together nicely. Here's a teaser.

Look at that shine! I just wanna lick it!

I'm glad I know how to paint. I worked at a body shop when I was younger long enough to learn how to be able do it on my own.. For myself. And, I've been doing it ever since throughout the years.. Just enough to not get rusty..ya know? 2 stage.. base coat, clear coat. Color is Subaru Sedona Red Pearl leftover from my brothers 01' Impreza 2.5RS / JDM Turbo swap and all that jazz. I like that color.

I did the roof panel in bed liner.

Now, I can keep the roof the same while switching from the YJ to the TJ body but, The hood/fenders & doors will be matching for each type.

Body
• Hard body: full -8, cab -4

I gave myself the "full" because if the doors & roof are also hard and I didn't take any "custom body" points even though I made the roof & doors. I'm also calling this a truggy/back halved and not a tuber.. Am I right?

While i'm waiting for my TJ to soak in hot water to soften the stickers I have to remove, I put my freshly painted YJ panels on!

Oohh! YJ!

My little quicky photo shoot.. I'm hoping to have the TJ in paint tonight so I can do a real photo shoot of both of them tomorrow. We'll see.

That color looks amazing out in the natural light. Sooooo shinny, how can you run a body that purdy out on the rocks and not feel horrible when it gets scratched?

Those fenders look sick. It's my humble opinion, but I think that the square lights and the contour of the round fenders kinda clash......but I also understand that the original body with round headlights went through a melt down

Thanks guys!

Yea.. It's gonna suck when I start beating the crap out of it but, thats not going to stop me. I have two bodies!

I agree with the roundish fenders & square headlights. Meh. It is what it is. I did my TJ body just now and it has round headlights and squareish fenders.. Haha.

Well, I finished the TJ, made some new doors and got it all in primer.

Now.. I have a special color I made from combining two other colors I had on the shelf.. They were both cool colors before I mixed them together.. Here's a teaser. I can't wait to get this color in the sun!

I am pretty sure Sorrca will be nice and only give you 4. "nice because that is not even a cab.

You only really have a hard body hood. Those are not door's they are side panels, plus having no back have of the body make it not a complete body.

Quicky photoshoot..

I'm going to get together with my brother who has a real camera tonight at sunset and we'll get some killer shots of both body variations.
