| Re: Harley's $50 SCX10 Deadbolt Budget Build Nice catch, makes it pretty easy for most people I'd think. I'll take a look at how that works with a 5" VP.

| Re: Harley's $50 SCX10 Deadbolt Budget Build Nice, I'm looking at making my own mounts to move my lightbar down a bit, just below the top of the bar, so the cage will take the brunt of the abuse when it goes over on its top. I like the way it looks now, just a little wary of its durability. It shouldn't hurt the looks too bad if I lower it a bit, I'm hoping anyways.

I hadn't thought to do the sliders like you did.. Great idea! I wanted more clearance so here was the mod I made to the stock ones. I used a dremel to cut off the outer portion of the slider. Kind of like you said, if you want to play around with the parts you have! |

Anyways looking forward to following this build and doing as many of your mods as possible. Two of my sons are getting the Deadbolt and G6 Wrangler for Christmas and I have asked Santa to bring me the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited C/R Edition. I come from years of experience in the nitro world, but new to the crawling world. Looking forward to having some fun with these things. Last edited by youther; 12-13-2014 at 08:10 PM. | |

Keeping up with the schedule, here is Week 7! Big plans coming up, been working hard to get all the parts I need for the next 4 or 5 weeks on the way. |

That's shameless thread bumping... That tray is a slick and cheap solution. Are you going to show everybody how you waterproof electronics? |

I just got a set of those wheels for Xmas from the wife( neither of us could wait to give each other presents so we said what the hell) and holy cow are they sick. Saw them on this thread first and loved them since. Thank you Harley! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
