I tried ordering one of your hacked GT3Cs tonight... it won't let me add it to my bag unless I buy the programmer with it.. Do I need the programmer if it's already hacked?

They are already hacked and packaged that way.

If you want to update it in the future, then yes the programmer is needed and recommended to have

ive recently aquired a flysky gt3b and was ablout to order 4 6channel rx's but wanted more info, so all i need to do is purchase GT3B Hack- Firmware Kit, follow the soldering instructions and programing, really just wanting the radio to be able to control my winchs and possiblly turn on and off my light kits

Yes, that is correct.

If you have programming questions, please post in this thread, do NOT start another thread.
Thanks.

PS, not sure what GT3B's OverKillRC has available, you may only get a GT3C......sounds like a little better, but either is OK.

Use losikids templates and all should be good. They can be hard to understand if you don't have the radio in front of you. If you have trouble, post here and someone will help you out, but I am only using mine to mix my throttles on my Bully. or, you can try an pm losikid directly and he can get you straightened out right quick.

Hi
Can somebody tell me how the timers work on the GT3B. I managed to set up the throttle trigger start, the alarm, and the timer type. I just can't realize what TxS and TxR means in the manual. So I don't know what I have to push to record lap times. Can somebody help me please.

Thanks

Those are the functions that you can assign to a switch to control the timers

So it can-t be used unless I add a switch to the transmitter?
What kind of switch, where I have to wire it?
Can't I assign those functions to one existing button on the radio?

Those are functions you can assign to a switch/button/whatever you want to call it already on the radio via the key mapping menu

I hacked mine yesterday. The header soldering was much easier then I had anticipated. Following the templates made perfect sense once I had the radio in front of me. I love the inactivity timer to. That will save me a fortune in batteries, as i tend to leave mine on for no reason...

Now i just need to get my rig out on the rocks to really give it a tryout.

I just received my 6ch receiver , now what is the process for setting it up to run a super with dig and rear steer , no mixing for now .

Do i need to switch the firmware , and will the new firmware still work with the 2.2 and the settings that i need?

THX
