I basically bought this radio system so I can seperate the four wheel steer, and quickly choose from full, to front, to rear, and crabwalk. Did a lot of reading in this thread and found nothing that I understand, or that seemed to address this problem. This is my first custom radio system, so I am not really good with it.. any help is greatly apprecieated
that is why when im ready i want to evaluate if this is the best option for me..

im kinda leaning towards a heli controller instead.. i dont mind stick controllers... and i would have full control of front/rear on demand...

i want to subscribe to this to see if you found out how to make it work for you!!!

Hmm... interesting, so basically mix ch1 and ch 3 or 4 to get rear steer out of the radios steering wheel? if that is possible at all....

I have mine set up so I have front or rear dig, and I have 4ws, crab steer or just front steer or just rear steer and it's all proportional with the steering wheel, but I'm not sure how I got it but thats what I wanted so I'm happy with it. Losikid would be able to answer you better

Should there be a new thread for GT3C hacking? This one is 3 pages shy of 100 right now

Just ordered a new gt3c for myself from hobbypartz...i'll give it a look over, but the main reason for ordering it is so i can replace the 2.4 module with frsky

I'm going to play with solder wick techniques so hopefully the frsky can be a diy mod w/out a high dollar desoldering iron

What is the advantage of using the frsky module?

Advantages is
a very secure link,
high voltage rx's are available,
rx's still decent price ($15-30),
really light rx's are available,
telemetry is possible,
high speed rx's are available (9ms vs the flysky 20ms)
Build quality is alot better

Hi Charlie, Did you ever get the templetes finished for 6.1. I'm really lost in programing my new radio. Thanks for taking the time to put this together!

Sorry, my GT3B is still an older version firmware.

I wanted to post up some additional dual ESC templates before upgrading to the newer firmware.
The upgrade is still at least a few days off (but I do have the hack kit and my next comp is ~3 weeks away).
