OMG Perts!?!

Installed the window nets, not going to use the Barndog panels right away, and waiting to install beef tubes cause I gotta get stuff to rebuild my front shocks that are already leaking

Grab some Gmade XD shocks, traxxas xrings and green slime.
No leaks and much better at soaking bumps with the bigger bore.

For 25$ a pair, it's almost unbelievable

Are the Traxxas xrings better? Worth putting in the King shocks during a rebuild?

This one is what I used in my Gmade XD.
Just the blue xrings, nothing else. 2 per shock.

Gmade shocks? Or Axial King alloy shocks?
Mine haven't been leaking (yet) stock setup.

Yeah after seeing many carnage of speed demon bombers or Yetis, I decided my next RC for bashing will be a 1/8 scale Tekno

Got some new body panels and number plates installed. Also added a roof rack, and window nets.

Haven't decided what light bar I want for the front yet. Want to add one that will mount under the rack so when it rolls over, it won't damage the light bar. May add some lights on the rear eventually too. Might have to surface mount the rears due to the design of the roof panel.

Anyone use either of these lights? Pros\Cons?

Got the bomber on the bench for a bit of work. This time for a vanquish servo mount. More to come on this eventually.

Making some upgrades and some changes. Switching rear pistons, changing front shock oil, new spur gear and top shaft, smaller pinion, new Hobbywing 1080 esc (it's all I see recommended everywhere) now just to wait for parts and reassemble.

Didn’t like any of the spare tire mount options I had seen and tried so after a couple beers I had a brainstorm and figured out how to turn the stock carrier into a rear slider instead of a hanger upper…and used a spare scx10 tire mount I had.

Now i realize a lot of guys dont run the spare at all but i like to have the option of adjusting the weight balance buy running the spare or not and the way i did this the slider sticks out past the tire preventing hang ups.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words so you guys can figure out the rest from the photos.

I'm kinda done with spare tires of any kind. They just add top-heavy weight...

Yup
No more spare tires, it hurts performance. Unless you desperately need scale points.

Less weight high up, no problem with angles and you get to show scale goodies.
