This might help you... when you have a complex system to troubleshoot, try and break it down into smaller components. Try this: Get two servos and plug them into the two throttle channels on your receiver. Somehow power up the receiver - use a battery pack or a BEC or something. Operate the transmitter and receiver. Move the throttle and operate the dig modes. Now you will be able to watch the servo arms and know how they are responding to the the dig function and this will give you a better idea where you could be having trouble. For example if you see that the servo arms always respond properly, you will know that the problem lies elsewhere - perhaps in the ESCs, or if the servos stop at odd times then that would point to a power or receiver or transmitter problem. |

best thing I did was start at the beginning of this thread and started reading. tons of info to go though but I guarantee all your questions are covered in this single thread. this is the most cost effective way to get a controller set that will run any and all of your rigs with the most channels and programmability.

Like stated.... Read thread in its entirety..... If Austin has no pre hacked kits buy the gt3b elsewhere and buy hack parts from Austin. Not hard at all. This is why he created this thread to have the community answer the same on going questions. Last edited by JokersWild; 06-01-2013 at 11:27 AM.

I do plan on having these soon though....if you're interested in a set send me a email, losikid@overkillrc.com . I'll have them for the gt3b and the gt3c ... i've also been considering anodizing them, so if you want some color tell me which color in the email (or just say you want raw aluminum) Pricing isn't set in stone, but expect ~$15 for a set in raw alum and ~$20 for a colored set. And they're drop in replacements....just take out a few screws, replace the old ones with the new ones, and screw it all back together. They'll give you alot of grippage on the switches. Eventually i plan on some lower profile ones to be a tad better than stock if the high profile ones tend to be too obstructive. I'm waiting to hear back from a machinist right now....I plan on having these shipping in a month or so |
